Families are welcome to visit our centre (see 'contact us' for details) and to receive a free therapeutic consultation, providing an opportunity for parents to ask questions and find out how we can help their child realise his/her full potential.

The centre was set up near Oxford in 2004, by Pippa Hoyer Millar, whose daughter Minty has cerebral palsy. Having extensively researched and tried many therapies, she finally discovered a new treatment in Poland, which was able to improve Minty’s condition significantly. Minty’s progress was dramatic.

For nine years of her life she had been unable to walk and was still at the crawling stage before her visits to Poland. Minty is now able to walk independently, but just as importantly, her cognitive functions have also improved.

Pippa spent two years travelling to Poland until she and her Polish therapists decided to set up Footsteps in the UK.
